SUMMARY:
Ella is nearly invisible at the Willing School, and that’s just fine by her. She’s got her friends—the fabulous Frankie and their sweet cohort Sadie. She’s got her art—and her idol, the unappreciated 19th-century painter Edward Willing. Still, it’s hard being a nobody and having a crush on the biggest somebody in the school: Alex Bainbridge. Especially when he is your French tutor, and lessons have started becoming, well, certainly more interesting than French ever has been before. But can the invisible girl actually end up with a happily ever after with the golden boy, when no one even knows they’re dating? And is Ella going to dare to be that girl?
REVIEW:
Edward Willing was the hottest guy here I have to say. Anyway I was really looking forward to this book but sadly I didn’t like it as much as I think I should. I mean this is the typical story of young adult romance that I really like. Popular Boy meets Outcast Girl and they fall in love. I couldn’t connect with Ella because she was too insecure for my taste and honestly if the Hannandas talked to me in any way like that, they would most likely all end up bald the next day without any trace coming from me. Frankie is the one I really liked just because he is just so freaking sassy. There’s something about Alex I don’t trust but maybe just because he is popular and good-looking and I don’t usually trust those kind of guys. But I have to say I liked how the book was written, the whole concept of truth and dare. And I enjoyed reading about Edward Willing a lot. And so for that 3 STARS.
